Unbelievable: that’s the word I would use to describe these incredible musicians I get to work with.  I don’t know what I did to deserve to work with such awesome musicianship but Marc Miller (bass), Carl Martin (drums) and Jeff Brumley (bass) and of course Paul Racey (guitars) are such a thrill to work with.  I have had an enormous blast over the past few days hearing (and seeing!) my songs come to life as these guys have intensely labored to give them the treatment they deserve.  It’s been such a rich pleasure to hear those drums get wailed on and that bass get slapped.  Priceless.  I’m officially starting vocals in the studio tomorrow and we got to tackle “Embrace” on Monday so that leaves 14 left to go.  🙂 Stoked!
